Later, we went to Walmart (a place that we'd dearly love to be able to avoid most days!) and got the supplies for a special evening meal. We had cubed steak, rice, and gravy, and yeast rolls.
We spent a while Skyping with Laynie and made tentative plans to pick her up on Friday at about 11:30am.
In less than a week, our Marine will be leaving us again. I cannot stand the thought of it...
Overall, it was a slow Wednesday.
