The plan had been to go to church this morning and show off our Marine. Mags woke up not feeling well and Davey didn't want her to be here alone. He wanted this to be a family day as it was the last day that all five of us could be together for a very long time to come. Laynie goes back to school tonight and Davey flies back to San Diego early Tuesday morning.
We spent a while playing Pony-opoly, which is always fun. In a little while, we will be celebrating family day with sparkling grape juice in the special glasses and then having Bubba Burgers for supper.
Shortly after that, we'll be on the road to the big city to take Laynie back to school.
