2017 September Challenge: Back Where I Come From - Day 3

3.  Were you raised in a town/city or in a rural area? Do you live in the same type of place now?

I have a mixed bag here.  I was born in the city limits and spent most of my childhood in the city limits of Anderson. The summer that I turned 13, Daddy bought property in the rural area of Anderson County in a little place called Starr.

No, I don’t live in the same type of place now. This place is considered a rural area, but we live in the city limits of a small Texas town. I much prefer the type of “rural” that I grew up in - out in the country!

  1. You are a country girl at heart. Want to toss a few cow chips?

    1. No thanks. I'll leave that one to my brothers. haha
I will always be a country girl, no matter where I live, but I still don't want to play with cow poopie. :)
      Love you, my Zing.

  2. Living within the city limits of a small town in the country would be rural here in MN. This already has been great fun for me.

    1. I'll bet it is beautiful up there, too! All I know about MN, I learned on television shows as I was growing up. The fact that you folks get snow pretty much every year is a definite selling point for me. I'm not so sure about 40-below temps, but snow? Yep, I'm there. :)

I'm glad that you're enjoying this challenge. I enjoy reading your posts, too.

      Have a blessed day.

    1. It is way better than the city, that's for sure! :) The city has stuff to do, sure, if you like to be around crowds. I don't. I love the freedom to breathe in the country.

Are there many rural areas where you live?

      Have a blessed day. :)
