JNW's Halloween Challenge: Day 1 - Pumpkin

I first learned about Jennifer Nichole Wells' Halloween Challenge through Ellen at 15 and Meowing. I decided (at the last minute) to give this a go. We'll see what happens.

I have been practicing with pumpkin drawing in Adobe CS4 this week.

Here is my original attempt:

Here is the second attempt and I am a bit happier with it than I was with the first one:

And here is the second one with a face on it:

    1. Thank you! I am trying to figure out how to use the dodge and burn tools in Photoshop. Sometimes I can get it to cooperate, other times, not so much. I haven't figured out the trick of it yet.

      Have a great weekend!

    1. Thanks! I had fun trying to draw it out. Once I figured out about the ovals, it wasn't so hard, but I still need to work on it. Thank you again!

      Have a great weekend. :)

    1. Thanks, Ellen. I appreciate the encouragement very much. :)
I may not have a post for each of the prompts, but I'm going to give it a good try.

      Have a great weekend. :)
