9. What was your favorite celebrity hairstyle when you were a teenager? Did you imitate their hairstyle?

I was one of those that wanted to have hair like Farrah Fawcett. I thought her hair was beautiful. I got into a big argument with the lady at the beauty parlor because I wanted her to fix my hair like Farah's. She said it had to be trained to do that. I didn't have the patience for training. I wanted it NOW!

  1. I wanted my hair to be long, smooth and wear it in a flip. But I wore it short and teased it - a lot! I don't know why I didn't let it grow out until I was married and then wore it long up until I was about 45.

    1. I remember my mama teasing her hair. It looked mighty painful to me, but made it stand up all poufy on her head. :) Do you have any pictures of you with your teased short hair?

What made you decide to go with short hair when you were about 45?

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a great weekend!

  2. That is funny. I have never had the patience to do anything with my hair, even now. I wash and condition it then add gel and let it air dry.

    1. I'm not at all patient with my hair, either, so we're twins. :) I wash it and let it dry. I don't bother with gel or anything else. I do need to condition it, though. It keeps getting all tangly. What kind of gel do you use?

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a great week!
