30. Reflection Post: What did you think of this challenge? OR A Random Thought Post.
I think it was fun looking back into the past and remembering things from back when I was young, which, at this point, feels like a hundred years ago instead of 30 or so years ago.
Even though I am the one that came up with the majority of the questions, it was hard for me to come up with answers to some of them. I didn't have the same experiences as many "normal" teenagers had. I didn't have a job or a car or join lots of extra-curricular activities during my high school days. It just wasn't possible. I couldn’t buy a car without a job and I couldn't get to a job without a car and no one was available to take me to work if I had gotten one. It was a frustrating circle.
In spite of my experience not being the typical high school experience, there are still moments that I can look back on and remember with a smile, like the day I walked outside and looked across and saw a gorgeous pair of blue eyes looking across at me. That day was the first day of the rest of my life and now I can look at those blue eyes any time that I want to, even if I have to pry them open to do so.

DeleteThanks for everything. Have a great weekend!
Feel free to pry them open any time. I might be like one of those cartoon characters whose eyes display a text message when they are asleep, I don't know. I have never looked into my eyes while I was asleep.
ReplyDeleteYeah, if I did that, the text message would be, "GET OUT! There is no Dana, only..." haha
