Important Notice!!!

Praise the Lord! After 6 weeks or so of dealing with medical facilities, we are finally back in our own home. David's foot is looking much, much better. There are still a few hurdles to cross, but he'll make it.

Please bear with us as we get adjusted to being home again and get back in the swing of blogging again.

Thank you for continued prayers!!!

Also, if you'd love to help cheer him up since YouTube has decided he is unworthy of monetization since his isn't a huge channel, please subscribe to his YouTube channel and watch the videos. That would really make his day! He has to have at least 1000 subscribers and 4,000 minutes of watch time within 30 days in order to be able to keep the monetization option.

September 19-Somethin’ Challenge: Day 30

30. Reflection Post:  What did you think of this challenge? OR A Random Thought Post.

I think it was fun looking back into the past and remembering things from back when I was young, which, at this point, feels like a hundred years ago instead of 30 or so years ago.

Even though I am the one that came up with the majority of the questions, it was hard for me to come up with answers to some of them.  I didn't have the same experiences as many "normal" teenagers had.  I didn't have a job or a car or join lots of extra-curricular activities during my high school days.  It just wasn't possible.  I couldn’t buy a car without a job and I couldn't get to a job without a car and no one was available to take me to work if I had gotten one.  It was a frustrating circle.

In spite of my experience not being the typical high school experience, there are still moments that I can look back on and remember with a smile, like the day I walked outside and looked across and saw a gorgeous pair of blue eyes looking across at me.  That day was the first day of the rest of my life and now I can look at those blue eyes any time that I want to, even if I have to pry them open to do so.
Thank you to all of you that have participated in this challenge, either by writing posts or commenting on them. I have enjoyed reading your posts and getting to know all of you better.    Have a blessed day!

  1. I enjoyed the the challenge and learning more about you and the others that did it.

    1. Thank you, Ellen. I appreciate you playing along with our challenge and being so faithful to comment on our blogs as well. I am glad that you enjoyed the challenge and I enjoyed getting to know more about you, too. :)

Thanks for everything. Have a great weekend!

  2. Feel free to pry them open any time. I might be like one of those cartoon characters whose eyes display a text message when they are asleep, I don't know. I have never looked into my eyes while I was asleep.

    1. Yeah, if I did that, the text message would be, "GET OUT! There is no Dana, only..." haha
