Important Notice!!!

Praise the Lord! After 6 weeks or so of dealing with medical facilities, we are finally back in our own home. David's foot is looking much, much better. There are still a few hurdles to cross, but he'll make it.

Please bear with us as we get adjusted to being home again and get back in the swing of blogging again.

Thank you for continued prayers!!!

Also, if you'd love to help cheer him up since YouTube has decided he is unworthy of monetization since his isn't a huge channel, please subscribe to his YouTube channel and watch the videos. That would really make his day! He has to have at least 1000 subscribers and 4,000 minutes of watch time within 30 days in order to be able to keep the monetization option.

August Happiness Challenge - Day 10

The "August Happiness Challenge" is hosted by Sam over at One Gal's Musings.  Run on over to her place to learn all about it!

I am happy to have a few posts written on each blog for today.  I am happy that we made it home okay after the doctor's appointment yesterday. Our Zoomie overheated and the light came on in the car. I don't blame Zoomie for overheating. It was 113 degrees out there! Immediately after the appointment, we went to Walmart to get more coolant as the levels were low and we headed home.  I am happy that we did not have to try to walk home in this extreme heat. Home was just over 4 miles away! David isn't even supposed to be walking 2 feet; forget 4 miles!

Please read David's August Happiness Challenge post over at Random Thoughts and Observations.

Please subscribe to David's YouTube Channel. Thanks!

  1. It sure is hot there, and I thought we had it bad.

    1. From what I hear, it is bad all over. I was hoping that, since it took so long this year for us to get to our first 100 degree day (we usually get there in April), that it would be a mild summer. I should have known better. It is making up for lost time. Kind of like putting the roast in the oven late and increasing the oven temp to cook it faster. :)

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a beautiful - and cooler - day!
