What Kind of Tree is This?

This pretty tree is growing in the circle median that sits in the middle of our neighborhood. I have been trying to identify what type it is, but so many of the white flowering trees look alike to me! I saw the first blooms on this tree a week or so ago. We live on the Texas Gulf Coast where all sorts of pretty things are finally starting to bloom!


Is it a cherry tree of some type?

 Or maybe a tea crabapple?

 Or, is it something else completely?

 If you know what type of tree this is, please let me know. Thanks!

      Thanks, Denise. I guess nobody else knows what it is either. I might write to the county extension service or to one of the colleges to see if they can tell me what it is.
