1. This Wednesday is National Canned Food Day - do you eat canned food? What is your favorite?
Suzanne: Sometimes we have canned food. One of my favorites is Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup.
David: My favorite is rutabagas.
2. Are you dressing up for Hallowe'en next week? Are you doing anything special for this holiday?
Suzanne: No and not anything particularly special. Maybe we'll make Ghosts in the Graveyard and Gremlin Guts again this year, but I don't know for sure.
David: No.
3. Have you ever taught someone to drive? What advice do you have to give to Wayne who is teaching Robyn to drive?
Suzanne: No, I haven't, and I am too much of a chicken to do so. I am a good driver but a horrible passenger even with an experienced driver at the wheel.
David: Yes, I taught Suzanne. Advice to Wayne: Don't do it!
4. What bad habit do you need to break?
Suzanne: I analyze things to the inth degree. Some folks see that as a bad habit or a fault. Personally, I don't see it as a bad thing.
David: My bad habit is not paying attention to what I am doing. Sometimes I am so focused on one thing that I don't notice other things that need my attention as well.
Did you go out to watch the Orionid meteor shower Sunday night/early Monday morning? Did you have a good viewing or was it a dud in your viewing area?

No we didn't go out to see the shower. We have started our trip south to get on our cruise and spent the night at a hotel.

I didn't even know there was a meteor shower this past weekend. Ii don't really watch the news and since I only have local channels its been mainly amazon prime for me.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the meteor shower until pretty much the last minute before it was time to go out and watch. We came back inside just in time, though. A pack of coyotes decided that they needed the spot where we'd been standing to view the show.
DeleteWe only see the news online. We use a Roku device and have Netflix and Amazon Prime. It is way better than cable this way. We can watch what we want, when we want.
