Chats on the Farmhouse Porch 10: #3

Here are the questions for this week. Please be sure to click the button above to play along!

1. Would you rather cook or clean house?

I would much rather cook. I love to cook and the more adventurous the recipe, the better. I'll never forget my first attempt (and only one, so far) at chicken cacciatore. It was before I knew exactly what a clove of garlic was, so I used the whole bulb. I'm guessing that everyone had terrific blood pressure that night after that supper!

2. Who do you resemble in your family?

My grandma and my granny. I favor grandma the most physically, but I have a healthy dose of granny's attitude.

3. Have you tried e-books yet?

If you mean reading them, yes. I haven't written one yet. I do have a book of writing prompts started, but I am not sure whether I will try to market it in print or solely as an e-book.

4. Do you collect anything?

Yes. I collect angels and magazines.

5. What's your favorite fall tradition?

Thanksgiving! Turkey, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, banana pudding, green beans, candied yams, mac and cheese...the works. I love Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday of the year and my most favorite part of fall.
