The Questions and the Answers
First things first, Happy Birthday to my wonderful, funny, beautiful husband. :)
1.Describe your 30's in one sentence. If you're not yet 30 tell us one thing you hope to accomplish once you hit that particular decade.
My 30s were full of babies, children, and the biggest move of my life.
- Is it harder for you to exercise or eat healthy?
- June 7th is National VCR Day. Huh? Anyway this reminded me of something I saw on Facebook listing household items we no longer have and the VCR was on it. I couldn't put my hands on that list, but found another list here of 21 items we all had ten years ago, but which are now obsolete-
Your thoughts? How many on the list do you still have? Still use?
We still have and use a VCR as well as a DVD player. Our house is loaded with books, therefore, well-used bookshelves. There are at least 3 desktop computers here still in use, as well as a paper shredder, a Rolodex, CD racks, and CD burners. We have a couple of printers, one still in use and that one includes fax capabilities. “They” still deliver printed phone books about every year to the end of our driveway. We also have an old 500 phone, though we no longer have a landline. There are several calculators around here that are used. I think there is an incandescent light bulb still in one of the closets.
- What's something you see disappearing in the next ten years?
- How did you celebrate your birthday this past year? Is that typical?
- Insert your own random thought here.
Have a blessed day, y’all!

I think that most of us in a certain age group will continue to use these items for as long as we can.
ReplyDeleteI think so, too. It doesn't make sense to toss something just because it is old or not the "newest cool thing". If it still works, we may as well continue to use it.
DeleteHave a blessed Sunday, Debby. :)
I certainly hope you will still be around in 10 years. XO
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ellen. I hope that you will be, too, for many, many more. You're a great friend. :)

Moana has opened our eyes to "the ancients" a little more. It is a great movie. I love you, My Zing!
ReplyDeleteYes, she has and it is. I love that movie and its songs. I especially love Grandma Tala. She's a cool lady. :) I love you, too, my Zing.
