Here are the fill-ins:
1. I am far too _________________.
2. To save money, I _____________.
3. ____________________ matter(s).
4. ________ makes me think ______.
Here are my responses:
I am far too critical of myself. Folks say that I am my own worst critic. I don’t particularly think that is true, as there have been folks that have been extremely critical of me to the point of meanness. But, I do tend to find fault with myself on a regular basis.
To save money, I reuse things. I also use various apps on the phone and computer to save (and make) money. One of my favorite ones lately is Honey. I have saved at least a hundred dollars with that app alone. Our grand-dogger Petra has heartworms, so requires monthly medication to keep it under control. Honey found savings available on the site we used to order the medicine and saved us over $40 on that purchase. For those of you that shop a lot on Amazon, Honey works there, too, to find you the best deal on the product you’re interested in. Honey is free to join. If you join Honey using my link, you’ll save money as well as earn us $5 when you make your first purchase using Honey. We both win. :)
Life matters. Children matter. Animals matter. Life is sacred. Protect it.
Nature makes me think of Heavenly Father and what a Master Artist He is. I am so blessed that He shares His beautiful paintings with me.

DeleteThank you for participating, great answers. You are too critical of yourself, you are a wonderful, caring and talented woman. I am glaf you found a way to save so much on heartworm meds. Have a great weekend! XO
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ellen. You're such a sweet person and I appreciate your comments very much.
DeleteWe're glad to have found a way to save on these medicines, too. Honey has worked out great for us so far. There's also eBates, but we weren't signed up for that at the time we ordered the medicine. There are ways of stacking some of these savings things, but I don't have it all figured out yet.

Oh, yeah, the Honey app seems to work very well. I am glad you found that. That whole Ebates thing works well, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm glad that I found it, too. It works great with Amazon!
DeleteHeartworm preventative is very expensive. It is so worth it, though. It is good that you found a way to cut costs.
ReplyDeleteI think that often people are their own worst critics, even when they come across as confident. Sometimes, it can be a learned defense from having been harshly judged. We just need to remember to: Be kind whenever possible, it is always possible. To others and to ourselves. Indeed, all life matters.
Yes, it is worth it, but sometimes beyond the means of the average pet owner. It would be great if there were something like Medicaid for pets.
DeleteIt might always be possible to be kind, but some folks sure make it a test. :)
