Aunt Charlotte's Peanut Butter Cookies

Howdy, folks!

Many of you know that we have been working on creating a cooking/baking channel. Well, now, our first video is up! It is a peanut butter cookie recipe that my Aunt Charlotte (my daddy's baby sister) gave to me when I was a young girl. It is an easy recipe and uses very few ingredients - only four, to be exact.

Now, on with the show!

Please be sure to subscribe so that you don't miss the future goodies that we have planned!

Book Review: The Gluten-Free Baking Book: 250 Small-Batch Recipes for Everything from Brownies to Cheesecake by Donna Washburn and Heather Butt

The Gluten-Free Baking Book: 250 Small-Batch Recipes for Everything from Brownies to Cheesecake by Donna Washburn and Heather Butt

The people at Robert Rose continue to bat them out of the park with their great recipe books. The Gluten-Free Baking Book: 250 Small-Batch Recipes for Everything from Brownies to Cheesecake by Donna Washburn and Heather Butt is another grand slam home run for them.

This baking book has many great color photos and is really not just a recipe book, but is more of a mini course in baking and, in this case, gluten-free baking.

The recipes are amazing and easy to follow. There are step-by-step instructions for making small batches of gluten free recipes, including many desserts.

We do think that this book should be read along with Eat Wheat by John Douillard. The combination would be awesome and very instructive for those with celiac disease, and those who love them.

The Gluten-Free Baking Book is very well-written and beautifully illustrated. We give it all five stars and a batch of brownies, too. This would make an excellent Mothers’ Day gift.

We were sent a complimentary copy of this book. We are under no obligation to write any review, positive or negative. We are disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255.

Book Review: Eclairs: Easy, Elegant & Modern Recipes By Christophe Adam

Eclairs: Easy, Elegant & Modern Recipes
By Christophe Adam

We were sent a review copy of Eclairs: Easy, Elegant & Modern Recipes written by Christophe Adam without charge for the purpose of writing this review.

Eclairs: Easy, Elegant & Modern Recipes is a wonderful book.  It is really a simple, step-by-step course in how to make eclairs.

The instructions are wonderful and very easy to follow. If you have trouble following written instructions, no problem.  There are pictures to take you step-by-step through the process.

By following along in Eclairs: Easy, Elegant & Modern Recipes one could very easily make eclairs that would be the hit of any party.  One word or warning though, once you make some of these creations for your own party, your guests will want you to make them for their parties, too.

We think Eclairs: Easy, Elegant & Modern Recipes deserves all five stars.  We think you will, too.
