Welcome Sign

Taken 6 June 2017. Very inviting, isn't it? This sign was here when we moved in about 13 years ago. We've seen plenty of snakes here, but no rattlers yet.😊

    1. I'm sure he does! If one gets out there, I hope it will let me take its picture, but no biting allowed!
I love you, too, my Zing. Happy birthday!

  2. Hubby has come across a few timber rattlers in the woods, but here at the house it is mostly chicken snakes and water moccasins (cottonmouths). Then there is a grass snake now and then and has been a few copperheads.

    1. We haven't seen any rattlesnakes in this yard yet, but we've had copperheads and coral snakes. Mostly what we see are chicken snakes and broad-banded water snakes. We had water moccasins on my daddy's property back in South Carolina. Those things will come after you, even if you try to play nice and walk away. When they were digging the water lines for the septic tank, a huge water moccasin - 6 or 7 feet long - hopped in the trench with them, coming after them. They hoed it and killed it before it bit any of them.

Here's to no more rattlesnakes for you and none here, either. :)

      Have a blessed night. :)
