Press Release: The Story of Noah's Ark

The first in a series of vibrantly-illustrated Bible stories for young children

THE STORY OF NOAH’S ARK
Illustrated by Helen Dardik

Share this classic Bible story with young ones through this delightful new picture book. With stunning art by Helen Dardik, and simplified text for little readers, The Story of Noah's Ark provides an excellent introduction to Noah’s story.

A long time ago, the people of the world were not treating each other kindly. God was very sad, and so he decided to send a flood to cover the entire world. However, one man, Noah, and his family were very good people, so God told Noah to build a big boat and to gather two of every kind of animal to be kept safe in the boat when the flood arrived.

This is the first of a series of Bible stories for younger children that bridges the between the gap between board books and traditional storybooks. With padded covers, thick, durable pages, and art with modern appeal, The Story of Noah’s Ark is poised to become a favorite for little readers and their families.

  1. One of the favorite Bible stories of kids is always a good one for picture book treatment. It's still one of my favorite episodes from the Bible and certainly one of the most intriguing and controversial.

    1. Yes, it is a great story. I've always enjoyed it myself.

I had never realized the controversies concerning the story of Noah's Ark until I was in college again in my mid-40s. It sure gave me a lot to ponder. Regardless of what the "other side" says, I still believe it to be true, and to have happened just as the Bible says.
