Book Review: All In: 101 Real-Life Business Lessons for Emerging Entrepreneurs By Bill Green

All In: 101 Real-Life Business Lessons for Emerging Entrepreneurs
By Bill Green

We were sent a free review copy of All In: 101 Real-Life Business Lessons For Emerging Entrepreneurs written by Bill Green by his publicist.

This book is right down our alley.  This is a subject we love to discuss on our Redneck MBA blog.  Mr. Green brings some real-world perspective to the lessons we try to teach via that blog.

It is interesting that Mr. Green has used the slogan “Whatever It Takes” with his businesses.  The reason that is interesting is it is the motto of he city of Wharton, Texas, volunteer fire department and is written on the side of their biggest trucks.  Victims of disaster know that the fire department will do Whatever It Takes to keep them safe.

Mr. Green tells us that we need to keep pushing and go that extra mile. He speaks of providing outstanding customer service to differentiate us from all the competitors.

It seems that Mr. Green’s father taught him a great lesson. This is the same lesson that I learned by watching many great salesmen at work.  This lesson is the secret sauce that separates the good salesmen from the really great salesmen.

We think All In is an outstanding book and far better than most we have read on the subject, and there have been hundreds. We give All In all five stars and two snaps up in a circle.

We would love to see a reality show starring Mr. Green, sort of in the same format of a Gordon Ramsey show meets The Apprentice meets Shark Tank.

This would be a show where Bill would take people who have submitted business plans and mentor them through the startup of their company.  Show sponsors would provide the start up capital.

We believe that All In is a great book for anyone in business, especially  those who have little business experience.  We would love to see Mr. Green write a book on raising startup capital.  This would make a great gift for those you know who have that entrepreneurial itch and need to scratch it.

    1. Thank you. I actually have several blogs, but not all are active right now. Some started and things happened and they just never really got off the ground. Redneck MBA is one of David's business blogs.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a blessed day. :)
