Book Review: Friends are Everywhere

Friends are Everywhere
By Ann W. Phillips

We were given a copy of this book free in consideration of a review.

This is a nice story about a disabled little girl who is experiencing some trials in her life and how her animal friends come along to encourage her.

The overall themes of this story are:  relying on Heavenly Father, faith, endurance, friendship and love.

I would love to be able to give this a five-star review and, on the themes it covers, it would get that. It is a very sweet story.

However, I would have to give it one star based on multiple grammar and punctuation errors throughout the book.  On several occasions there were jumps from one dialogue to another, all within one paragraph.  In many cases, the dialogue was missing the required quotation marks.  These mistakes could be very confusing to a young reader.

This would be a good story for an adult who does have a grasp of grammar and punctuation rules to read aloud to a child.

    1. It is. It is a very sweet story. The animals all have names and they communicate with the little girl. The animals go through a transformation of their own throughout the story. I think that you would enjoy reading it to your little niece.
