Currently...A Life List

http://smidgensbitsandsnippets.blogspot.com/

Looking out my window.....I see a cold, but sunny, beautiful day.

As I ponder....how this year is going to work out and if I'll see the end of it.

What I am learning...that no matter what happens with my eyes, I can still create art.
What I’m creating...I am working on a Grandmother's Flower Garden crocheted afghan. I was working on a purple knitted hat, but I guess I've abandoned that idea, at least for now. Maybe I'll pick that back up later.

What I’m reading....
Still The Four Agreements, the Merch by Amazon book, as well as a book for review titled A Drop of Water by Yvonne Williams Casaus. It takes me a while to read anything because I don't really get much time to read before my eyes get too fuzzy.

What I'm watching...
David reading a book about the death of Dorothy Kilgallen that he is reading for a review. It sounds like a very interesting book! It is titled The Reporter Who Knew Too Much. The book title links to a web page by the author.

What I’m hearing...
the air conditioner, the heater, and our keyboards clicking.

What’s on my camera...

What I’m drinking....iced tea is in my glass.

What’s happening in the kitchen...
at this very moment, rice and beef stew are cooking.

A quote I want to share...

"You know there are moments such as these when time stands still and all you do is hold your breath and hope it will wait for you.” Dorothea Lange

A final thought..."Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Phillipians 4:6-7

In other words, don't worry about it, whatever "it" is.  He's got it covered!

    1. Beef stew is great for cold day meals and rice helps it to stave off hunger longer, too. :)

What is your low supposed to be today? Our high is supposed to be 39 today, but it was down into the 20s last night. I think the windchill was in the low teens. It was pretty cold. How long does it stay cold in your area?

  3. Loved the quote and your final thought too! I am glad you are keeping busy. If we keep our minds busy maybe there is less to worry about! Have a good weekend

    1. Thanks, Paula. I meant to tell you that I liked the quotes in your most recent Life List post, but I got onto something else there and forgot to say so. :)

I am hoping that it will work that way, that a busy mind will mean less worry. I really am not worried about my eyes right now. My mind is racing on a hundred other things, so maybe it is working.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a blessed weekend!
