    1. Thank you, Ellen. She was a beautiful kitty, for sure. Her babies were/are, too. Bagel Bites was a "no pet me"...she didn't like people. Her daddy, Bagels, was like that, too. I had him coming around, though. He would let me get near him without him running off. Then, that all got undone when David went into the hospital in November 2012. I was gone so often that he forgot he was starting to warm up to me. Bagel Bites has never let me pet her. Her daughter Callie is mostly a no pet me, but she sometimes comes up to me and twirls around my legs and lets me pet her. The petting has to be on her terms, not mine. I can live with that. Callie is the only one in recent history from Bagel Bites or her twin sister that wasn't black and white. Our Angel Xerxes was either Bagel Bites son or her nephew. Both of them took care of him in the beginning and we were never able to determine which one was his mother. In any case, mommies and babies, except for Callie, are together again at the Bridge. Poor Callie seems so lonely without them.

Have a blessed day and a Merry Christmas.
