Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
Psalm 18:49

Difficulties are opportunities to better things; they are stepping stones to greater experience. Perhaps someday you will be thankful for some temporary failure in a particular direction. When one door closes, another always opens.

What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for the ability to read and write.  There are still people out there that can do neither.

  1. It is sad to think of those that can't read and write.

    1. Yes, it is very sad. They miss so much not being able to read and write. I really can't comprehend it still happening today. Illiteracy in the early part of the last century was more understandable. Children often had to miss school to help with the farm work. School is mandatory these days. But, lots of kids just get passed along to the next grade regardless of the fact that they haven't yet mastered the basics. It is sad all around.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a blessed weekend!
