Here are the fill-in-the-blanks:
1. Peace____________________________.
2. I need to ___________________________, but I keep procrastinating.
3. A friend is _______________.
4. I _________ try to ____________.
Here are my answers:
Peace would be a wonderful thing. Unfortunately, it isn't something that we'll see in this lifetime. Still, we should continue trying to achieve it. I know I'll never be six feet tall, but still I keep stretching.
I need to get a move on the de-cluttering of this house. There are just too many distractions. I'm not so much procrastinating as I am distracted. Also, I am apparently in a flare of some type and can't stand for long without intense pain in my back. That is slowing things down quite a bit.
A friend is willing to listen. A friend has your back. But, a true friend will also try to guide you back in the right direction when they see that you're headed in the wrong one.
I am going to try to blog every day for a year. This goal started on July 1 of this year and I have been successful so far. I've made it four months without missing a day so far. I am also going to continue on my quest to not let hurtful things continue to hurt me. I haven't been as successful with that one, but I am working on it.

Absolutely, we need to strive for peace. God expects it.
ReplyDeleteIt seems I am forever rearranging and recycling/tossing things out. It keeps getting undone. *wink*
Your comment on friends is so on-target! I try to do that, too. Sometimes people need to be reminded. Me, too! I am so very human. My friends forgive me.
Good luck with blogging. I used to be able to do that, but not in quite some time. I do my best, and hope to get better...with most things.
Thanks for being my friend, Suz. Hugs...and peace.
Thank you for being my friend, too, Annie. :)
DeleteSome things are just ongoing, forever jobs, eh? haha Maybe we'll be able to make progress on our de-cluttering projects some day.
I hope that you are having a blessed weekend. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. {{{Hugs}}}
Excellent answers! Your #2 describes me in needing to de-clutter the house.
ReplyDeleteThank you! How do you overcome the distractions? I am having a very difficult time doing that.
DeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a blessed weekend. :)
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sorry your back is bothering you, I hope you feel better soon. I highly recommend a turmeric supplement, it did wonders for my back when it was bothering me from shoveling. It is a great anti-inflammatory. Good job on blogging every day and many times you do more than one post. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you to you and Annie for hosting the fill-ins. :) Thank you. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. To make matters worse, I fell earlier today. There was a wet spot in the floor that I didn't see and down I went. We will have to look for a turmeric supplement and give it a try. Thank you for that suggestion. :)
DeleteThanks! I am trying to do at least one a day. Sometimes, another opportunity comes along, too. I try to divide things up between the two blogs. Some things seem better suited to PS Annie! and others to McClendon Villa. Other things I cross-post on both of them. It seems to be working okay for the moment.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a blessed weekend!
Oye, the decluttering of house never seems to end. Like shoveling snow in a blizzard. But much like reaching for Peace, I keep trying to get rid of the clutter.
ReplyDeleteThat's all that we can do, really, is keep trying.
