30 Days of Thankfulness: Day 17

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Psalm 100:4

Gratitude consists of being more aware of what you have, than what you don’t.

What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for the women that taught me to crochet and knit.  My Aunt Vi taught me how to crochet.  David's mother tried to teach me to knit, bless her heart.  The two women that helped me to finally get it were Littlest Lambs volunteers named Audrey Walters and Sallie Poole.   Aunt Vi and Mrs. Walters are now crocheting and knitting up a storm in Heaven.  Stitch in peace, ladies!

  1. You are lucky to know how to do both.

    1. Thank you, Ellen. Crochet came pretty easily to me the way Aunt Vi taught me. Knitting was, and still is, difficult for me. I am slower than a turtle when it comes to knitting. I'm also a perfectionist, so a lot of things get ripped out, which slows down the process something fierce. :)

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a blessed day!
