7. Did you ever get hurt trying to imitate someone else? What happened?

No, I can't say that I did. I was too busy finding other ways to get hurt, like stepping on broken bottles and rusty nails.

There were plenty of other family members that tried this, though.  Tightrope walkers come immediately to mind.  I figured the ER was way too familiar with us already, so I didn't need to be Stunt Woman. I had already made my donation to the cause with the bottles and nails.

    1. Yes, it did. Stitches were involved with my toe and the broken Coke bottle, which doubled the hurt, if not tripled it. The relative that was tightrope walking ended up with stitches in his chin, as best I can recall.

My Coke bottle toe still feels weird. It doesn't hurt, but is extremely sensitive and guarded. They had to pin me down to put in the stitches and they wouldn't let Mama be in the room with me either. They sure paid for that one! I fought and screamed and probably kicked someone along the way because I was scared and hurt. I wasn't the only one hurting by the end of it.
