September 19-Somethin' Challenge: Day 1

  1. What movie could you, or did you, see over and over and over again when you were a teenager?

Each year when I was a kid, for as long as I can remember, we watched Miracle on 34th Street and It's a Wonderful Life.  I never tired of watching them and looked forward to the holiday season each year because I would get to watch those great movies again.  Also, I enjoyed watching Westside Story on several occasions, but not nearly as much as I enjoyed the first two movies that I mentioned.

I also LOVED watching Elvis movies and one of my favorites was Charro.  It wasn't my favorite because of the story line. I don't even remember what it was about. But, I thought Elvis was extra good-looking in that movie…a total hunk with that tan.  I know one isn't supposed to think their cousin is a hunk, but with one like Elvis, how could I not?

      Yes, that is what I was told by my grandma's sister. Some of my research indicates that he and I shared a 3rd great-grandmother. Other research indicates that this is not accurate. I choose to believe what my Aunt Mae said until I find definitive proof otherwise. :)
