Gold Star Family Day

All across this country, there are military families, families that have to let go of loved ones to help insure freedom for all of us.  We are the Blue Star families.  Our family is a Two Blue Star family.    Some of those loved ones never come home. Those families left behind are the Gold Star families.  There are many.

Today is Gold Star Family Day. Please light a luminary this evening in honor of those brave families that are enduring the honor of being a Gold Star family, for this honor means that they have lost someone very dear to them.  

May our Heavenly Father bless them all.
