Title: Forgiveness: The Miracle of Forgiveness: 3 Steps To Transforming Suffering into Peace

"Having preconditioned expectations of how others 'should' treat us only results in disappointment and suffering. Acceptance and fully allowing others to be as they are enables us to love them and release us from much suffering."
This is a very interesting book. I have looked for years for a guide on how to forgive. I may have found something that will help me to do this on things that have been particularly difficult. The author apparently believes that Heavenly Father is in control of everything and appears to be of the mind that we're puppets, of sorts. I think that I can work around that thought and get out of this book what I need to. There are some awkwardly worded parts which lead me to believe that English is not their first language. So far, I've been able to work around that, too.

Sounds like a helpful book. Forgiveness can definitely be difficult.
ReplyDeleteMy Friday post features THE REVENANT.
Thank you. I think it will be helpful ultimately. With some people, forgiveness has been easy, like it is natural. But some hurts have not been so easy to let go of. This book suggests alternate ways of thinking of the people on the other side of the hurt.
