This picture makes me both happy and sad. I am very happy to have a multi-generation picture including my daddy and my granny. It makes me sad because so very much has changed since this photo was taken. Granny and Daddy are both in Heaven now and Jared is under the deep blue sea somewhere. I've gone through some major physical changes. The only thing that has stayed the same since this photo was taken is that Laynie is still the sweet, beautiful girl that she has always been, just a bit taller. :)

That is certainly a beautiful picture :) 5 very happy faces. Looking through old photos can certainly give one a feeling of nostalgia!

That is a beautiful photo. Thank God for photos to capture our loved ones so we can still see them after they are gone.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, I agree. I thank Heavenly Father for allowing photography to be invented so that we could have precious treasures like family photographs. We can have them and remember, and those that come after us can have them and see that they have Grandpa's nose or Great-grandma's eyes. It helps to keep the generations connected.
