Grandma and Grandpa Spence, Aunt Carolyn, me (yellow dress), my brothers (twins), my cousins Debbie and Johnny. I think the baby in Grandma's lap is my little sister, but am awaiting confirmation on that. Taken late 1960s. You were just a little tyke in 1968. I was just out of high school.
ReplyDeleteI was 2 years and 11 months old when our little sister was born. Our brothers were 17 months old. My mama had 4 babies under 3 at once. I know she didn't have time to get bored. She had to secure me somewhere so that she could get the laundry hung out to dry. If she didn't, I was playing with the "dollies" that she'd brought home from the hospital. I heard that I powdered them up really good a time or two.
