Free Homeschooling Book - Free Today!

Our newest book is free today in honor of our youngest son's 22nd birthday. David, Jr., was homeschooled until college and is now in the US Marine Corps and doing quite well there.

Many people question whether or not they should homeschool their children. A book entitled 27 Reasons Why Homeschooling Will Damage Your Child’s Life Forever has attempted help parents answer that question.

In our book Is Homeschooling, or is it Home Schooling, Right for You?, we address those reasons and provide counterpoints to some of the arguments listed.

To homeschool or not is a question that should be answered after much prayer and research. David and I seek to aid in that decision.

  1. I'm sure you are very proud of your son! I know many parents consider homeschooling these days. I don't think all parents/families are cut out for it, but I'm sure a book by someone who's done it could help a person decide if it is right for them and their situation.

    1. Yes, we are very proud of him and miss him like crazy!

I agree that not all families are cut out for homeschooling. Unfortunately, there are many that don't even want their children around, forget trying to teach them anything. Others adore their children, but know their limits and comfort level. It is what worked for us and hasn't held our children back in their pursuits. I just wish that we'd started sooner. Our oldest son was in middle school when we started homeschhooling in the fall of 1997. Our oldest daughter had just started 2nd grade. Our youngest son and daughter were homeschooled from the beginning. It has definitely been an adventure. :)
