Zucchinis are a summer veggie, a squash to be exact, and they are YUMMY!
They say it is easy to grow; I don't know as I've never tried to grow one. It is a low-calorie vegetable. There are many great recipes featuring the vitamin A-loaded vegetable.
Here are links to a few:
Are you a veggie person? What are your favorite veggies?
I love broccoli, corn, green beans.
ReplyDeleteOut of those you listed, my favorite is broccoli, but I love all of them.
DeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a blessed week!
Zucchini seems to be prolific around here and when in season there is always someone who is trying to give some away. I don't like it by itself, but you can hide shredded zucchini in bread and it tastes good.
ReplyDeleteI don't eat as many vegetables as I should. Fresh green beans and cucumbers are among my favorite.
Congratulations on completing the A-to-Z Challenge! I look forward to continuing to read your posts.

I love cucumbers, too, but the ones available around here just do not taste as good as the ones back home in South Carolina.
DeleteThank you for the congratulations. I have been horrible about posting since the challenge due to a multitude of reasons. I hope to get back in the swing of things soons. Thanks for sharing your link. I'll visit your blog shortly.
Have a great week!
My favorite vegetable is tomato.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there are so many ways to cook zucchini. I'd like to try the "grilled Parmesan vegetables."
Romi, how do you like to eat tomatoes? My husband and I love to eat tomato sandwiches. The folks around here where we live now didn't even know what we were talking about when we mentioned tomato sandwiches. They think it isn't a sandwich unless it has meat in it. :)
DeleteIf you try the grilled Parmesan vegetables, let me know how they work out for you. Of the recipes above, the one that I'd most like to try is the zucchini fries.
Have a great week!
