Have you been watching the Olympics?
No, I haven't been watching the Olympics. I am not really a sports lover.
Does the grey winter affect your moods?
Yes, it just makes everything so blah and depressing. On the flip-side, though, I don't particularly like non-stop, retina-drilling sunlight, either. I think it is good when overcast and sunny days take turns.
When was the last time you held a baby?
It has been well over ten years since I held a baby. We were still in South Carolina and a girl in a church handed me a baby to hold. At that point, it had been so long since I held a baby that I got all turned around trying to hold him!
Do you do a thorough spring cleaning each year?
No, but we're working on one right now. We're reaching corners that we haven't been to in years. I have a spider bite on my eyelid to prove it. Ouch.
Please tell Wendell a bedtime story. He asked. I said I'd ask you.If you don't feel that creative, tell him a favorite book you think he might like. please. :)
I think that Wendell might enjoy The Cat in the Hat Comes Back. That was always David's favorite book to hear me read to our oldest son when he was a baby. We used to have a recording of me reading it to him, but that is long gone now.

I'm not watching the Olympics either but I do check the medal standings quite a bit. And if (I mean when) Canada plays for Gold in hockey, I'll watch that :)
ReplyDeleteHow did Canada do? Did they get the Gold for hockey?

Nice chat.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Denise. I hope that all is well with you and yours. Have a blessed weekend!
DeleteWendell would enjoy the Cat in the Hat. I can't wait for spring! We have had sick after sick after sick. I'm ready for some sunshine.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that you folks have been so sick, Patrice. I hope that you all are feeling much better now.
DeleteSpeaking of spring! I think that it has finally sprung here on the Gulf Coast! I saw my first Indian Paintbrush of the season this morning. I've been waiting for them for so long that I nearly went off the road when I saw it. haha This means that the bluebonnets are not far behind. :) I would have photographed it, but there was nowhere to pull over so that I could safely take the picture. I hope to go out tomorrow or Sunday and try to find some elsewhere to photograph.
I am glad that Wendell would enjoy the Cat in the Hat. :)
