Questions

Did you ever take piano lessons, as a child or adult?

No, I never had access to piano lessons either as a child or adult. However, our children did have them.

How many times do you eat out each month?

We eat out as few times as possible. For one, our budget just has no room for it right now. For another, there are just too many boogerty people in food handling jobs these days. We were in a Kroger in another town last week and saw two different produce workers wiping their noses and handling the produce, without washing their hands after wiping their noses. Disgusting! I don't eat my own boogers, why would I want to eat theirs?

If you could snap you fingers and change on thing about your appearance, what would that be? (Temporary or permanent)

If I could snap my fingers and change one thing, I guess at this point it would be my weight. If I could lose 50 pounds, I would be happy and healthier; 75 pounds would get me back to where I was when I was 16 and David and I started dating.

Mix It MonthlyDo you like looking at art or photography? Do you go to any place that displays them?

Yes, I like looking at both art and photography and like to create both as well. I haven't been to an art center since before I got sick in 2010. I do view a lot of artwork and photography online. This is one of my favorite websites for creating artwork: Mix It Monthly. She has a monthly challenge and it is fun way to be involved in art.

Do you have new things for your fall/ winter wardrobe?

Not, but I haven't really seen anything out there in the stores that I would want to wear. Most of the stuff seems to be made for people that can get away with wearing things 5 sizes too small, and are too short on both ends. It was never in my plans to be a comedienne and I know there would be riotous laughter if I wore most of what I see out there!

  3. I agree with you on so many things in your answers. I cannot afford to eat out and my own food is not only very good, but I know where it came from and how it was prepared. My inner artist is itching for time in my studio. I was planning on teaching some art classes this fall, but I need to have my health in gear if I do that. Maybe this isn't the right time. That flu whacked me! Still glad I never got a flu shot. I don't trust them. Have a good week, my friend.

    1. Maybe it isn't the right time right now, but I sure hope that it works out for you soon. I enjoy art and would someday like to be able to take an in-person art class. There is so much that I don't know about how to actually create tangible art.

I agree with you about the flu shots. They are forever after David to get one. When he did get one, he got sick, so he doesn't get them anymore and I have no plans to either. I hope that you're 100% better very soon.

I hope that you have a great week, too, my friend. :) Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
