Stayed Tuned for Saturday Stories

I have been reading several books lately about recording personal and family histories. This is something that I am working on doing. The book that I am reading right now is called: The Photo Scribe - A Writing Guide: How to Write the Stories Behind Your Photographs. I am four pages into Chapter 1, and already have some ideas for my memoir writing as well as a new idea for a weekly blog post here at PS Annie!

This new idea is called "Saturday Stories". The idea is to go through our photos and write the stories behind the photos. While the old saying goes "a picture is worth a thousand words", the photo doesn't tell the whole story. Maybe we know the whos, the whens, and the wheres of the photograph put before us, but do we know the whys?

Saturday Stories seeks to put into words the back story of the photographs in our collection before these stories are lost, like so many others have been.

Please be sure to check back on Saturday to see the first of these stories, one about flames, yellow carpet, and milk jugs.

    1. Thank you, Denise. I'm looking forward to remembering and writing the stories. I am hoping that somehow this will improve my memory so that I don't forget things quite so easily anymore.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I hope that you have a blessed week. :)
