1. Apparently today is International Homeless Animal Day. Have you ever adopted an animal friend for your household?
We've never officially adopted an animal and have only once in our life bought one. Well, okay, it was two that we bought. We bought one kitty and I couldn't stand the thought of the other one being left there in the pet store all alone with no other kitty friend, so we bought the second one. And then there were the fish... Otherwise, every cat or dog we've ever had has adopted us, not the other way around. Stray cats in the neighborhood have adopted our carport as the birthing center, so we always have a new crop of kitties around here. Unfortunately, all of the recent litters have died with the exception of two little ones. No matter where we've lived, our house/yard has been the neighborhood birthing center for cats.
Here is one of our babies from the past. His name was Wes.
2. How do you adjust to changes in your daily routine?
I like to have things planned. I don't like surprises or changes. It generally frustrates me and throws me off course when changes come along.
3. Which social media platform do you like best? Which one do you like least?
I like the blogging platform best. Although I have a Facebook account, I despise FB. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if it just disappeared over night. I also have Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn accounts. I use Twitter for prayer requests and posting blog links. I pin blog posts, but mostly I'm repinning other folks' pins. I have a LinkedIn Profile, but don't have a clue what to do with it.
One thing that I detest about any of the social media platforms is the constant changes that they make. They wait until I'm used to how the platform works and then they change how it looks and/or works and it just totally messes me up. It takes me forever to get it figured back out, so in the case of non-essentials like Facebook, I just quit using it.
4. How do you decide, 'what's for dinner?'
I decide by what we have, what we have the money for if we don't have anything in the house, what David is in the mood for, and how tired I am already. If I'm tired, it will be something that is quick and easy. If I'm feeling okay, it might be something more time and energy consuming.
Are you a naturally inquisitive person or do you take things at face value, no questions asked?
Good answers.
