Important Notice!!! We are currently dealing with a serious health crisis involving David. Computer time and blogging will be taking a backseat until we can get this situation under control and, hopefully, save his leg. Please bear with us as we go through this difficult time. Thank you for any prayers that you can offer up.

Also, if you'd love to help cheer him up, please subscribe to his YouTube channel. That would really make his day! The link is at the bottom of all of my posts.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to all of you!

#Gratitude Challenge Day 4

This is a 14-day gratitude challenge. You can read more about it here: Personal Excellence.

Day 4: Reflect on Gratitude and Its Place in Your Life

Today is my birthday and I am thankful to make it to another one. I have not always been thankful for the life that I have been given and, to be honest, I am not always these days either. However, gratitude should always be a part of my life regardless of the things that may or may not be happening to and around me. I should always be grateful for the life that He gave to me and for the life that He gave for me. I am thankful that He loved me enough to sacrifice Himself for me.

Being grateful in all things, both good and bad, is something that I continue to try to master. It isn't easy, but I know that it is something that I must do.

Daily Journaling: Three Things I am Grateful for Today

1. I am thankful for those that care whether my birthday is happy or not.

2. I am thankful for Black Forest Cake loaded with cherries that my son made for me.
Here is a YouTube video about making a Black Forest Cake.

3. I am thankful for special dinners, even when I am the one that has to cook them. I love to cook!

  1. Hope you enjoyed your birthday, love you.

    1. Thank you, Denise. It was a fine birthday. Love you, too, my friend. Have a blessed day!
