Questions

Do you have any type of air cleaner in your home?

We have filters in the window air conditioners and filters for the central air system.

What do you do with the spare change you accumulate in your car, purse, pockets, etc?

Like any other money we have, it generally goes to necessities rather than wants.

What's one chore you wish you never had to do again?

Any of them, really, but my least favorite chore is washing dishes. I get all hot and icky and it makes my back hurt to stand there for long. Our floor is a concrete floor with vinyl over it. It just isn't comfortable at all.

Are you outgoing, quiet, shy, reserved, or life of the party?

I am extremely shy in real life situations.

Have you understood your parents more as you've gotten older?

Yes. Isn't it funny how much smarter our parents become the older we get?

  1. Washing dishes is my least fave chore too! I hate how dry it makes my hands.

    Happy Wednesday!

    1. I know what you mean. It makes my hands look even more like little old lady hands, all wrinkly and then really dry.

  3. Concrete floors are quite nasty. They make your legs hurt if you stand on them too long. Washing dishes is never fun, but that makes me appreciate the dishwasher even more. Have a good week!

    1. This house was built the year that I was born and the blueprints that we found in a drawer show a dishwasher as part of the design, but no dishwasher here. There's no fireplace here, either, but who needs one in this place? :)

    1. It does seem to be a natural part of our maturing process.

  5. Hi Suzanne! I love these little polls, I get to know a little bit more about you!

I am not too crazy about washing dishes either, but I really despise cleaning the shower (which I have to do today...YUK!) I don't know if I understand my parents better, but I certainly am more patient, which is really the goal anyway (for me!)

    Nice to see you again!

    1. Hi Ceil!

Patience is a good thing to have, but not a good thing to pray for. Praying for patience is a sure way to get it and you get it through the fire. Ouch!

I like the question-based memes, too. I agree that it is fun to get to know other folks this way. It is nice to see you again, too.
