Important Notice!!!

Praise the Lord! After 6 weeks or so of dealing with medical facilities, we are finally back in our own home. David's foot is looking much, much better. There are still a few hurdles to cross, but he'll make it.

Please bear with us as we get adjusted to being home again and get back in the swing of blogging again.

Thank you for continued prayers!!!

Also, if you'd love to help cheer him up since YouTube has decided he is unworthy of monetization since his isn't a huge channel, please subscribe to his YouTube channel and watch the videos. That would really make his day! He has to have at least 1000 subscribers and 4,000 minutes of watch time within 30 days in order to be able to keep the monetization option.

Creative Every Day and Sketchbook Challenge

Creative Every Day 2013 photo Creative_Every_Day_ced2013v1_zps619a4020.jpgCreative Every Day is a site dedicated to encouraging us to be creative in some way every day. It doesn't have to be on a canvas to be considered creative. There are a multitude of ways for us to express our creativity: writing, cooking, drawing, fiber arts, etc. What is your favorite way to express yourself creatively?

The theme for the month of May is flowers. What are your favorite flowers? I love daffodils and pink roses and a host of others. I revisited the kindergarten years that I never had to begin with and played around with the Painter 11 program to come up with a little yellow flower of my own.

Also, for the Sketchbook Challenge, the theme for May is bowls. If I've posted this one already, please forgive the repeat of it. It was also done in Painter 11 with some further twiddling in Adobe CS4.

  2. I love that flower, great colors!

    1. Thank you, Leovi. Also, thank you for the follow.

      Have a great week!

  3. Those are so cute! I especially love the little happy face in the flower. These are actually perfect, because my mother's favorite color is yellow, and I always think of her happy face when I see it. It's such a happy, bright color! :) Also ...

I've nominated you for a Liebster, as well as a Very Inspiring Blogger Award! For more details, please see my post about it.

    1. Thank you, Kristen, for the kind comment and the awards. I'll check out your post shortly. :)

I am working on another image now for a quote challenge. I wish that I could draw the image that is in my mind. Thankfully, part of the requirement is explaining the image in a blog post because that is probably the only way my image is going to make sense. haha

My youngest son's favorite color is yellow, too. My babies have helped me to see the beauty in all sorts of colors. :)

      Have a great week!
