These are two of my most favorite family members. I have several favorites sprinkled across my ancestry. These two ladies are sisters and their names are Maggie Pressley Spence, my maternal grandma, and Mae Pressley Worley, her older sister. My baby sister posted this picture earlier and I had to share it with all of you. Aren't they beautiful?
They were loving, Christian women that were always there for me whenever I needed them and I always needed them. I still do. These ladies, along with my Uncle Bobby Smith on my daddy's side, were my guides to Christianity. They prayed for me. They loved me. They answered my questions about Heavenly Father and faith and all sorts of things, even how to pray for enemies the right way instead of the way that I wanted to pray for them.
My youngest daughter's name comes from a combination of their names. I sure do miss these beautiful women that built me!
