Fearless Females: March 2 - Photo - Pressley or Spence?

Please visit Fearless Females: 31 Blogging Prompts to Celebrate Women’s History Month at The Accidental Genealogist.
March 2 — Post a photo of one of your female ancestors. Who is in the photo? When was it taken? Why did you select this photo?
This is a photo that was in my Grandma Spence’s photo album. I first saw it in February 1992, around the time that my grandpa died. Grandma gave it to me. She was in the grips of Alzheimer’s and could not tell me who the little girl was. No one else has been able to tell me, either. I took the picture to my Aunt Mary’s house. Aunt Mary was my grandpa’s sister. She said that it looked like a Pressley child to her. My grandma was a Pressley before she married my grandpa.
The other photos on the page were taken in the mid-1930s and this one was printed in the same style as the others, kind of like a postcard. Neither my mother nor her sisters were born yet in the 1930s and my grandma was born in 1917, so would have been too old at this point to be the little girl pictured.
I selected this photo because it is one that intrigues me and I’m also hoping that someone out there has maybe seen this picture out there somewhere in their own family collection and can tell me who she is.
I would love for this twenty-years-long brick wall to finally crumble!
