Questions
Do you eat eggs? What is your favorite way to serve them?

Yes. I love boiled eggs, deviled eggs, scrambled eggs and fried eggs. With fried eggs, I like for the white to be cooked and the yolk to be liquidy in the bubble, not cooked solid like with a boiled egg. I also like egg sandwiches. When I was a little girl, an "Easter eggs" was the only kind of egg that I liked.

Do you have a favorite item that you really like having around? (a pillow, a chair, a sweater, a teddy bear, etc.)

My husband,...does he count as an item? :) Other than him, I love my red velvety sweater, but I don't get to wear it much around here.

Is most of the furniture in your home dark wood, light wood, painted, lacquered, or distressed?

It is distressed, but not because that was its style. It is just a natural by-product of raising a houseful of kids!

Please fill in the rest of this sentence. "I could write a book about____________."

Good question. Right now, I'm working on a book of writing prompts. See below.

If money and calendar/family obligations weren't an issue, would you prefer to spend next weekend at a Bed and Breakfast, a posh hotel, a cabin in the woods, or on a sailboat on a calm body of water? I guess the last thing, the sailboat, would have to be someplace warm. :) (It's 30+ degrees here.)

Most definitely I would prefer the cabin in the woods!

NOTE:     The prompt book that I am working on now is titled 365 Writing Prompts of My Own. A sneak peek is available for purchase now for $1.00. If you're interested in this sneak peek of sixty prompts, please e-mail me at: Suzanne McClendon

  1. Eggs are wonderful. I like my fried eggs just as you said. More people said that their husband was the thing they liked to have around and a cabin in the woods was their destination. Have a good week!

    1. I would love to live in a cabin in the woods full-time. :) I hope that Wendell is doing fine and getting all the carrots that his horsey heart can stand.

Thanks for hosting the Chats meme and for stopping by and commenting. You have a great week, too!

  2. I feel the same way about eggs. I love them in about all fashions and if fried I have to have a runny middle so I can sop it up with biscuit. I will not eat it though if the white is runny.

    1. I like to use toast or regular bread and I agree, runny whites wouldn't be what I wanted either. That seems icky. For whatever reason, runny yolks don't seem icky at all.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a great week!
