Meet Me on Monday

I am so glad that Meet Me on Monday is back in business! Please be sure to click the button below and visit Java's blog to play along!

This week's questions are:

1. I can't stand when someone ________?

...Treats me like I am stupid. That makes me so angry! I am dealing with cognitive issues and the more problems there are, the more vulnerable I feel. The more vulnerable I feel, the more self-conscious I am. I feel like people see me as stupid or just a mental case, whatever. I may be having problems, sure I can't remember what I had for breakfast two seconds after I ate it, but I am NOT stupid, so please don't treat me that way! And, definitely, do not give me that "oh, you are so pitiful" look. GRRR

2. Do you do daily, weekly or monthly grocery shopping?

...Daily, though I wish it was far less often! Even if we aren't having to buy this or that every day, we are in the grocery stores more often than most due to our business.

3. What kind of car do you drive?

...A little red Ford Fiesta. We call it my little zoom-zoom.

4. Crunchy or soft tacos?

...Generally crunchy but I like soft tacos, too. Also, I do not use hamburger in our tacos. I use a soy-based product that looks like hamburger, doesn't taste exactly like it, but I like it much better.

5. What's the habit you are proudest of breaking?

...Hmmm this is a difficult one. I can't think of very many habits that I've broken and my husband says he can't think of any bad habits that I've had. The only one to come to mind for me at the moment is that I no longer bite the dentist, but that might only be because I don't go to the dentist.

    Hi Kristy!

It isn't easy, that's for sure, but we don't really have any other choice. We don't get paid in one big check a week or every two weeks, but little ones along the way. That leads to smaller grocery trips but more often rather than big ones less often. I would prefer the latter! It is just the way it is for our business.

Thanks so much for commenting and following my blog. Have a wonderful day!

    Hi Deb!

Thanks. I'm glad that I made you laugh. I've never been a very good dental patient unless they knock me out cold. :)

Thanks so much for commenting. I hope that you have a great week, too!
