Important Notice!!! We are currently dealing with a serious health crisis involving David. Computer time and blogging will be taking a backseat until we can get this situation under control and, hopefully, save his leg. Please bear with us as we go through this difficult time. Thank you for any prayers that you can offer up.

Also, if you'd love to help cheer him up, please subscribe to his YouTube channel. That would really make his day! The link is at the bottom of all of my posts.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to all of you!

Sunday Stealing: That Meme That's Going Around

I found this meme while responding to another one. It is always fun to find new ways to play on the blogs. Please click the link above and become an accessory to the "theft". :)

The lifted meme this week is from: IROCKSOWHAT

A. Age:

46

B. Bed size:

King size.

C. Chore that you hate:

Getting rid of spider webs. The blasted spiders love to snack on me!

D. Dogs:

Our dog is in Heaven now, but she was a really sweet German Shepherd/Chow mix, gentle as could be unless you messed with one of the kids. She'd defend them in a heartbeat.

E. Essential start to your day:

The bathroom! Then, comes a bit of Diet Coke. I don't do coffee.

F. Favorite color:

Red (and black!).

G. Gold or Silver:

It depends on the application, but generally gold.

H. Height:

4' 10.75"

Head Ferengi.

We live on the Gulf Coast.

Mama. Is there supposed to be another one?

N. Nicknames:

Suz, Lily, Weird Chic.

O. Overnight hospital stays:

Tonsillectomy, childbirth, hysterectomy.

P. Pet peeve:

One of my biggest peeves is people that expect more from me than they are willing to give to me, like somehow they are worth more than I, or anyone else, is.

Q. Quote from a movie:

"After all, tomorrow is another day!"

R. Right or left handed:

I am right-handed.

S. Siblings:

I have two brothers and one sister.

T. Time you wake up:

It depends on the day of the week and sometimes I don't go to bed, so I'm already up. Usually, I get up about 6:30am.

U. Underwear:

...Can be very annoying!

V. Vegetable you hate:

I can't think of any vegetables that I hate.

W. What makes you run late:

I am not usually late, but when I am it is generally because of my bladder.

X. X-Rays you've had:

When I was little, my big toe was x-rayed after my cousin closed the car door on it. I have also had x-rays and CAT scans of my chest/lungs/ribs. Also, my leg and arm were x-rayed after a butterfly caused me to fall in a hole.

Y. Yummy food that you make:

My husband loves the pancakes that I make.

Z. Zoo animal:

I love the lions and the spider monkeys.

    Hi Ixy,

Ferengis (and I'm probably spelling that wrong!) are profit-seeking creatures on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The women are not allowed to be in business or make a profit. In our family business, however, it is my job to find the quickest path to profit, find clients, and keep us on schedule.

The females aren't supposed to be clothed. I hate clothes, but I do wear them. haha

The mother of the two male Ferengis on the show is named "Moogie" and this is what my children call me. :)

Hi Harriet! Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to visiting your Monday Mayhem, though I'm a day late already. :)

Are your siblings older or younger than you? All of mine are younger. My brothers are twins and 17 months younger than me and our sister is 17 months younger than they are. Mama had 4 under 3 years old at the same time, back in the days of cloth diapers and clotheslines. :)

    Have a great day!

Hi! Yes, we're all Star Trek fans in this household. I think there was one of the ST series that we didn't care for, but otherwise, we've been through them all since the beginning with Captain Kirk. I used to watch the original series when I was a little girl. The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine are my favorites.

    Which is your favorite?

Thank you for stopping by and commenting. :)
