Entering a Book

Today's prompt on NaBloPoMo is: Have you ever wished you could enter a book?

My answer to that is: Yes!

If I could enter a book, I would love to enter any of the Blossom Street books by Debbie Macomber. The first one that I read was Susannah's Garden and I was in tears before the first chapter ended. I was hooked and, after several years of reading this series, I'm still hooked.

Debbie weaves the lives of the characters into our lives. Through parental ailments, fertility issues, young love, old love, end of life issues that we are all familiar with because we have gone through them ourselves, she reaches into our hearts and grows a family between the reader and the characters.

I would love to be part of life on Blossom Street!
