David and I are watching a movie called "Band of Angels". Clarke Gable is in this movie. I can't remember the name of the leading lady.
This movie has had a really big twist early into the movie. The girl who was the master's daughter found out as they were burying him that she was also the daughter of a slave woman (dead, too). The girl had grown up believing something about herself only to find out that things weren't as they seemed. It clarified something that one of the male slaves had said to her.
Has anything of this magnitude ever happened to you? Have you ever lived believing something only to later find out that this wasn't how it really was at all? How did you cope with the new-found truth?
