Over the last two weeks, we have put a great deal of mileage on the car and ourselves getting our two daughters moved in and out of dormitories at universities over 200 miles apart and in opposite directions from our home. That was about 1200 miles worth of driving, with two round trips for one daughter and five for the other one.

Here are a couple of flower photos taken between here and Corpus Christi, Texas.

These flowers were along the side of the road in an area near the town of Lolita, Texas. I don't know what they are, but thought they were very interesting.

It seems that every time we go to Corpus Christi, the sky is dreary and overcast. We have yet to make a trip down there to have the sunshine greet us. Maybe next time!

These first two flowers are growing in our yard. I do not know the name of the white flower. We did not plant them and, as far as we know, the lady that lived here before did not. They are naturally occurring yard enhancers and I love them, especially the oxalis.

This flower, Queen Anne's Lace, is growing all over the roadsides here on the Texas Gulf Coast. As the bluebonnets of April are on their way out, the Queen Anne's Lace is waking up. This bunch is being visited by little lovebugs. As I was taking this photo, those bugs were everywhere!
