I Hear You

I hear you calling,
The mud and the clay
Fresh on your hands
As you take hold of mine,
Showing me the past,
Leading me to my destiny.

  1. I heard the call of clay many years ago and played in the mud with great love for creating utilitarian pottery. It still calls my name every once in a while, but I have moved on to creating with cloth and fiber. Love the poem. Thanks for the memory.

    1. How exciting! Utilitarian pottery is what my forefathers created, too. What was your favorite thing to create? Do you have a picture of it you could share with me? I'd love to see it. You're welcome for the memory. :)

Thank you. Have a blessed day!
