Book Review: Work It: Get In, Get Noticed, Get Promoted By Denise M. Dudley, PhD

Work It: Get In, Get Noticed, Get Promoted
By Denise M. Dudley, PhD

Have you ever wished you knew exactly what to do to get the job you wanted and then to succeed from the moment you started your new job?  Work It: Get In, Get Noticed, Get Promoted by Denise M. Dudley PhD may very well help you to do that.

This book is well-written and well-designed.  Dudley tells her readers not only what to do, but the whys behind the whats.

In Work It, readers will learn the behind the scenes ways to put their best foot forward in writing resumes, interviewing, and following up.

Work It even covers what to do in the unlikely event that you get fired or if you decide it is time to move on to a new job or even new career.

This isn’t one of those books where you are asked a series of psychological mumbo-jumbo kind of questions to determine what type of job you would do best in. Dudley assumes you already know that.

We think you will get a lot out of Work It.  We give it all five stars and think you will, too.

If you or someone you know are contemplating a change in jobs or even careers or if you are seeking a promotion in your present situation, Work It will be one of your best investments.
