Here are the fill-ins:

1. My next ___________________ will be _____________.
2. Fireworks__________________________.
3. Freedom ___________________________.
4. This week, I am thankful __________.

Here are my responses:

My next blog-related project will be updating parts of our blogs and fixing some of the codes. Blogger and WP both are giving me grief in some areas.

Fireworks are loud, but often very beautiful displays. I like to try to photograph them.

Freedom isn’t free. It is bought with the blood of sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, and friends.  Many die in servitude to keep us out of bondage.

This week I am thankful for making it through the month without having a panic attack over the finances. We can do anything we set our minds to. We can survive most anything “just one more day”.

  1. Suzanne,

I'd love to photograph fireworks, too. I haven't made the time to do this because it's just too crowded in most areas and it keeps us out too late to suit me. They are beautiful and I enjoy the bright colored light display in the evening sky. We often hear neighbors setting them off. I think it's a cool thing to do. I just hate that people are accidentally injured sometimes. The people who do stupid things with them get what they deserve, you know? All I can say is use that gray mass between your ears, morons! :D I hate financial struggles and I'm sorry things are tight for you guys. Boy, wouldn't it be grand to win the Power Ball? I guess it would up my chances if I bought a lottery ticket. lol Have a good, safe weekend!

    1. Yes, it would be great to win the Power Ball or have sales of our books to take off, anything to get money flowing at a steady, decent rate around here. It will happen when it is meant to. Yes, I think it would greatly increase your chances of winning if you bought the lottery ticket. haha We haven't bought one in a very long time.

Crowds and being up past the usability of my eyeballs is an issue here, too. I'm a night owl that has to be on a daytime schedule right now for several reasons and it just isn't working out too well. I'm sleepy all day now! There won't be any firework photography for me this year.

I hate that folks and critters are injured by the fireworks, too. Everyone just needs to be careful and mindful of those around them.

Have a blessed week and a wonderful 4th!

  2. Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I am glad your finances were better this month. I am thankful for your sons and all those that fight to keep us free. I hope you get some good fireworks shots. Have a nice weekend!

    1. You're welcome, Ellen, and thank you on all counts. :) I won't be going out anywhere to photograph the fireworks this year. But, when we're able to, I love to try to photograph them. One year I got some that were okay, but not perfect. I was happy to get them, though.

Have a blessed week and a wonderful 4th!

  4. I can relate all to well to trouble with the coding on Blogger and Wordpress. I am looking forward to seeing the fireworks this year. I always try to take photos, but mine never quite turn out the way I want them too. "Just one more day" is sometimes all we can focus on to make it through.

I hope you and your family have a great weekend and Happy Independence Day!

    1. I hope that you're able to get fireworks photos that you're happy with this year. :)

"Just one more day" is the only way David and I survived the month of February this year. It sure was a rough one.

I hope that you and your family have a blessed week and a Happy 4th, too. :)

  5. My husband likes to take pictures of the fireworks too. It can be a bit tricky.

I am so grateful and thankful for the service of our military and veterans. I need to remember to pray for them more often.

I hope you have a lovely 4th of July!

    1. Thanks. :)

They can sure use all of the prayers we can send up and then some.

I agree that fireworks photography can be tricky. I just wish that I could master the tricks. :) How does it work out for your husband?

      Have a blessed evening.

    1. Thanks. Mine don't come out the way I want them to either, usually. They aren't ever very clear, always too grainy for my liking. But, at least they mark the moment. Maybe one day we'll both get lucky and take awesome firework pictures. :)

Have a blessed evening and a great 4th!

  7. I apologize for may lateness in responding. Although I read posts last week, with Chloe Jo in the hospital, it has been difficult. As I write this, she is back in the hospital for observation and tests. Thanks for understanding.
I agree with your #4. We can survive anything with God's help and the right attitude. Hugs.
