Frank J. Blecha and Mary Wenzel Blecha, Most Recent Immigrant Ancestors

Our most recent immigrant ancestors were David's 2nd great-grandparents, Franz "Frank" J. Blecha (1851-1945) and his wife Mary Wenzel Blecha (1854-1929).  They came to the United States from the area known as Bohemia, Austria.  I do not know their date of arrival in this country, but they were both here by 1873, as that is the year they were married in Seneca, Nemaha, Kansas.

Their fifth child, Louisa Blecha, was born in Oak Valley, Elk, Kansas, on 19 August 1879, making her a first generation American.  Grandma Louisa married Howard Aaron Bushnell on 23 December 1896 in Kansas. She is David's great-grandmother through his mother's mother Mary Bushnell Roberts.

Who is your most recent immigrant ancestor or first generation American (or whatever country your family is from)?
