Here are the fill-ins:

I don’t understand why ______________ is so popular.

My in case of emergency person is_________________.

There is so much _________________________________!

I would be lost without ___________________________.

Here are my responses:

I don’t understand why being mean to others is so popular.

My “in case of emergency” (ICE) person is David. I also have our children coded as such in my phone in case something happens. This way, the emergency responder will know my relationship to the person they are calling. Our children are marked “daughter” or “son”, whichever is the case, along with their names. “Husband” is beside David’s name. Our mothers are marked Mama and Mama-David’s. The other folks in my phone are just listed by their names, no relationship listed.

There is so much pollen “out there” right now that I can’t walk out the door without sneezing my head off. My poor Zoomie is yellow-green instead of red. It is absolutely everywhere!

I would be lost without Jesus. Thanks to Him, I am found.

Have a blessed day, y'all!

  2. Thank you for for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. I have been sick all week thinking it was a cold, but maybe it is pollen. Excellent answer for #4. Have a great weekend! XO

    1. Thank you, Ellen, for co-hosting the fill-ins with Annie. I enjoy participating.

I'm sorry that you've been sick all week. I hope you feel better very soon. Do you feel worse after going outside? I know my congestion flares up something fierce and I'm all sneezy out there, too.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I hope that you have a blessed weekend, too. :)

  3. Beautiful answers...so true about Jesus.

    Sweet comments, David and Suzanne.

Being mean is never in style for me. Kindness is so much more my style.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

    1. Thank you, Elizabeth, on all counts.

Kindness is one of the best styles to have. More folks should have it.

  6. I have never understood meanness. It actually should be easier to just be nice. There are those who insist on being negative and/or mean. They just present challenges for nice peope. *wink* Okay, what is a zoomie? To us, it is when the cats or dogs (or both!) run around like there is a fire! But...no one is green or red. So, a flower?
Yes, I once was lost, but now am found...Happy Palm Sunday!

    1. Zoomie is what we call my car. It is a red Ford Fiesta. You can see a picture of my Zoomie here.

When our Angel Xerxes ran around like that, and generally went nuts, we called him our Manian Debil (instead of Tasmanian Devil). He was a wild one sometimes, at least until he got so sick.

  7. Great answers and I definitely am with you on #1. Seems like since the Internet has been around, people have gotten nastier and nastier. I guess it's easy to hide behind a machine. Have a great weekend!

    1. Thank you, Yvonne. I agree, nastier, meaner, and more impatient, too. Everything has got to happen NOW!

  8. It's literally so much easier to be kind, I don't understand it at all either. It takes actually effort to maintain a mean or negative attitude - you have to feed it with crap daily... and why? why would you choose that?

    1. I think maybe sometimes it is what a person has been fed his whole life and he is afraid to step out try something different. A fear of the unknown or better the devil that you know sort of thing. Maybe. Some folks are just plain nasty on their own, in spite of having sweet and loving parents.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a blessed week!
